Anton is the bridge between children's music and German pop. He fills a new niche and bridges the gap between traditional children's music and pop music for adults: family pop.

Since the end of 2019, songs like ‘Monsterparty’ and ‘Noch 5 Minuten’ have made him an integral part of the family radio world, followed by his album Große Pause (Big Break / Recess in English).

In the big break, there is a lot to talk about: friendship, family, school and how to love, argue, assert oneself, stumble and get up again in this chaos. It deals with the embarrassing family that they would rather not swap. Or about the annoying sibling for whom you're still a hero. About grandma who always puts too much on your plate or your plans for the summer holiday. All of this can be discussed over a snack. But who are we actually standing in the yard with?

Anton is a dad and, both, a big and little brother. He was born Anton Nachtwey in Berlin Friedenau and is a musician through and through. From the age of six, he received twelve years of classical piano training and has been on stage as a singer and performer since the age of ten.

Because he can't put the piano in his rucksack and take it to the park, he taught himself how to play the guitar. At the end of the 90s, he also began to set up his studio and produce music. In 2004 he trained as an audio engineer and in 2005 became the main actor in the docu-soap ‘Unser Block’. Over the years, countless works with and for various artists such as Mark Forster, Sido, die Atzen, Kool Savas, Wincent Weiss, Amanda, Eko Fresh and many more followed.

So far, Anton has rarely been alone in the yard, and that's not about to change with family pop. With Bürger Lars Dietrich, Ich & Herr Meyer and KID CLIO, he brings a few classmates into the fold. Große Pause is like a concert by Anton - colourful, loud, inviting and something for the whole family. Modern pop with cheeky, child-friendly lyrics that also appeal to adults and get them dancing.
