Buzz T. Isles, is a distinguished musician, songwriter, and producer with a multifaceted career in the music industry. Born and raised in Germany, Basti developed a deep passion for music early in life, which has fueled his journey through various aspects of the music world.
Starting off as a musician playing in rock bands, Buzz T. Isles is now working as an engineer and producer in the music and advertising business. His studio credentials sum up to an impressive list including state-of-the-art studios around the world, such as Abbey Road Studios (London), Power Station (New York), Hit Factory (Miami), Village Studios (Los Angeles) and many more.
Together with his wife he creates music with their alt-pop band „Mad Hatter's Daughter“. The band's live references include shows in Europe, Dubai and on Maldives, playing venues as iconic as “Cavern Club” (The Beatles, Adele) and “Green Note” (Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse). Their first EPs "Life Affairs" and "Walk with me" secured the band over 3 million streams and 20 weeks in the German airplay charts. After a successful German tour and small festivals in England, the trio began working on their current album "Where Are We Runnin" with Grammy nominated engineer Jeremy Murphy (Adele, Sam Smith, Emeli Sande, Robbie Williams). They have succeeded in developing their own signature both in terms of sound and songwriting, which sets their exquisite pop songs apart from others.
Basti excels in working closely with singers to capture their best possible vocal performances. His meticulous approach to vocal recording and editing ensures that every nuance and emotion is perfectly captured, resulting in recordings of the highest quality. His speciality are impressive hooks and his toplining skills.
