Sawoff Shotgun
A sawn-off shotgun might not be the most precise of all weapons, but it surely sports some impact. The same can be said about the three sisters who joined forces under the nom-de-guerre of Sawoff Shotgun.
They grew up with a Spanish mother and an Australian father (Mr. Sawoff) in the somewhat sleepy town of Graz / Austria. No wonder they were intrigued to fry bigger fish, move on to bigger cities like Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna, where the currently live and work, and make an even bigger impact there.
With the success of their first album and the second album closely following on the heels , they released the first single, which hit the Top 10 in the German indie-charts.
Their music is a wild concoction of clubby, electronic sounds with a hearty dose of guitars and trash.
On stage Sonia, Monica and Susanna are a force to be reckoned with, flamboyantly inviting the punters to party.
