Rossano Snel used to be a DJ, a musician for a jazz group, and a piano player at a retirement residence. He also pursued studies as an electronic technician and tried skateboarding, though both ventures were not successful.

Throughout his life, he experienced many changes until he decided to focus on his true passion: playing, writing, and sometimes teaching music. Snel started playing piano at the age of eight and began composing simple melodies a few years later. His love for simple melodies has persisted throughout his career.

Born in the South of Brazil in 1985, Snel lived in São Paulo for a while before finding his home in Berlin.

His music can be found on his site and various platforms such as Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube, Deezer, Tidal, and Apple Music. He has released music through different labels, including Strings and Hopes Berlin and Deutsche Grammophon.

Snel writes and produces music, sometimes for other artists, sometimes for films and art projects, but mostly for himself. Many of his compositions have been used in feature films, documentaries, animations, and TV series. These works have been presented on HBO, Netflix, Arte, ZDF, ARD, Canal Brasil, and in countries like the USA, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, and Argentina.
