At nearly 3 months old Sinan Mercenk had his first musical experience when his brother Saim uses Santana's music to calm him down and to put him asleep. Influenced by New Wave and The Police in the early days, he later became interested in Hip Hop and Black Music. He received his first keyboard at age 15 and started to learn playing the keys in an autodidactant manner, just for the fun of it. When he could provide a Kurzweils 1993 his productions became more professional.
In collaboration with Bodo N. for the first time he released a project called M.U.L.E. on Container Records, and furtherly contributed to their current compilation "5000 OHM",
Sinan Mercenk moved to Turkey with his family in 1995, where he and his older brother ran a guesthouse includincg café, but he never stopped working on his own projects. When his father passed away in 1995, in a state of desperation and grief Sinan produced "The Warning" which would appear on the first Sinan EP on U.S.S.
Back to Luebeck in 1996 he started connecting to labels, that would release some more tracks he had produced in Turkey. "Sinan EP" was released on the label "Freudenhouse" in 1997, positively welcomed and discussed in magazines "Groove" and "Raveline".
His first international releases “Mellow Mellow" and “We Love T. Banks", presented in 1999, were quite successful in Germany, the Netherlands and Africa. During the following summer '99 the track “Chocolate" was released in Germany and Italy, and easily made it to all relevant house club dancefloors. In 1999 Sinan decided to start promoting his name as a house remixer for international artists. Remixes followed for “Tarkan - Simarik", “Faray - Back To Back", “G Park - You Got Me Falling", “Kamasutra -Where Is Your Love", “Minimal Funk - The Groovy Thang" to name some of them.
After meeting wellknown Hamburg DJ Mirko Lütkemeyer in 1999 he teamed up with him for producing the "C.R. Project". Sinan is also wellknown as a DJ in several locations.
